The Indivisible Tacoma organization wanted custom designs that members and fans could buy online. We host an online store collection composed initially of six designs: light and dark versions of the traditional logo, two color combos of our custom crowd rising design, and light and dark versions of our custom Tacoma Dome rainbow design.
Redesigned the logo for the Franklin Pierce Foundation in August 2019. Selected color palette that includes colors from all district high schools. Provided lockups and templates for web, print, and social media.

We designed this campaign yard sign for our friend and former colleague Turan Kayaoglu who is running for Puyallup School Board position 5 and will be on the ballot in November 2019.
We kept it simple so the message is readable at traffic speeds. And using a single contrasting color on white stock keeps printing prices low. We chose the bright orange because it’s a warm color that evokes enthusiasm, creativity, and success. We also made sure to avoid school colors that might imply rivalry or favoritism toward one of the areas in the district. As a school board candidate it’s important to serve all of the students!

This original SymerSpace design features a Washington State map (created from spatially accurate GIS data) modified with curved borders and an angled Philadelphia-style 8-color pride flag background. Initially developed for Tacoma, it can be easily adapted for use with other locations and printed on a variety of gear. Distressed pattern on art allows background color to show through for a worn look.
Angular Tacoma Word Art is original artwork by Tacoma native Kris Symer. Abstract letters spelling TACOMA are inspired by the peaks of the Cascade mountains and the depths of the Puget Sound basin. This design expresses gratitude for the rugged beauty of the South Sound and the authenticity of its people. Subtly local, for the 253.
Two variations on the concept are traditional Salish (top) and modern Rainbow (bottom).
Developed custom business card to match website branding including background image and typeface.
Created original graphic for Indivisible fundraising project. Produced mockup of color samples on shirt catalog model.
